What and where is G-Summit Europe?

G-Summit Europe is an opportunity to learn about emerging technologies, talk with peers, explore the future of customer experience and, in the process, learn to make every moment count. That’s not only our event theme, it’s our promise to you. You can make every moment count at G-Summit Europe and, from every day forward, as you engage with customers and take their experiences to new heights. The conference will take place at the Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 10-12 September 2019.

Why should I attend G-Summit Europe?

At G-Summit Europe, you’ll learn about product enhancements and innovations, and experience breakout sessions planned with your job in mind. You’ll meet peers and be inspired by thought leaders from around the world. You’ll also hear from analysts and industry experts and get up-to-date info about Genesys products and services. Do you offer group discounts?

How do I modify an existing registration?

I registered for G-Summit Europe, but now am unable to attend. Can I transfer my registration to another person?

What is the G-Summit Europe event fee cancellation policy?

If cancelled by 1 June – 100% refund
If cancelled by 1 July– 75% refund
If cancelled by 1 August– 50% refund

No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 10 August. All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to [email protected].

Who do I contact with questions regarding a visa and/or an invitation letter?

Where is the G-Summit Europe event located?

The Amsterdam Conference Centre, Beurs van Berlage is located in Amsterdam city centre at Damrak, Oude Brugsteeg and Beursstraat, opposite Amsterdam Central Station. It’s a short distance from motorways and Schiphol Airport.

Are there special hotel rates for G-Summit Europe?

There are a limited number of rooms available at the discounted rate near the Conference Centre. View room rates and book your reservation here.

What is the hotel cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary depending on the hotel. Please contact your hotel directly regarding their regulations on check-in time, room guarantees, deposits and cancellations.

Who should I contact to request auxiliary aids and services?

There is a section on the conference registration form for accessibility requirements. Please indicate “yes” in this section upon registering or email us at [email protected].  A member of our team will contact you to discuss your needs.

Who should I contact if I have special dietary needs or allergies?

When can I pick up my badge?

10 September:  7:00 –19:00
11 September:  7:00 –18:30
12 September:  8:30 –15:00

Will meals be provided at G-Summit Europe?

Lunch will be provided during the event for full conference attendees. Food will also be available at official G-Summit Europe evening events. To conserve resources, we’re minimizing water-intensive products like single-use plastic water bottles. Check the G-Summit Europe mobile app (available 26 August) for locations and times.

Are there group meeting spaces provided at G-Summit Europe?

Meeting space at G-Summit Europe is very limited. There is open collaboration space throughout the property, but no meeting rooms are available for rent.

What is the recommended attire for the conference?

Attire for G-Summit Europe is business casual.

Will there be transportation provided to and from the G-Summit Europe party?

Genesys is sponsoring transportation to and from the G-Summit Europe Party at the Passenger Terminal on Wednesday evening.

Shuttles to the party

Shuttle boats will run from 18:00 – 21:00 and depart from the Stromma Canal every 15 minutes.

  • The boats will pick up at Damrak Pier 5 and drop off at the Muziekgebouw

Shuttles from the party

Shuttle busses will run from 21:00 – 24:00 and depart from the Passenger Terminal bus terminal every 10 minutes.

  • Stop #1 is “Rokin” for those staying at the following hotels:

    • Die Port Van Cleeve
    • De Roode Leeuw
  • Stop #2 is “Central Station” for those staying at the following hotels:
    • Art’otel

  • Stop #3 is “Amrath” for those staying at the Amrath Hotel
Where is the closest Urgent Care facility? Pharmacy?

If you have an urgent medical need or require a pharmacy while at G-Summit Europe, please see the attendant stationed at the front desk in the lobby of the Beurs van Berlage.

Are speaking opportunities available?

With G-Summit Europe rapidly approaching, we are looking for Genesys customers to share their customer experience success stories. If you have a great story to tell, share your knowledge and help colleagues solve common challenges with your customer success stories, best practices, and personal tips and tricks. If you’re interested in speaking at G-Summit Europe, please submit your story by completing the nomination submission form. All submissions must be received by 22 July.

If you’re selected to speak, you’ll be notified the week of 29 July; and you’ll receive a complimentary conference pass. Questions? Contact [email protected].

Is there a press contact for Xperience19?

Can I get one-on-one time with speakers?

Absolutely. G-Summit Europe is committed to providing an intimate experience where you can interact with speakers and attendees. Once the app is available you can ‘friend’ attendees/speakers and schedule time to meet one-on-one.

By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, streaming, webcasting, television or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged.
