Genesys Customer Innovation Awards: Recognizing Achievements in an Unforgettable Year

It’s been quite a year for everyone. We’ve been working in new and unexpected capacities. We’ve been juggling various and sometimes unfamiliar expectations — in our personal and work lives. We’ve stretched ourselves, often more than we thought possible. In the process, we’ve learned so much and evolved to new ways of doing things.   

While it hasn’t been easy, we’ve all adapted. And some have even learned to thrive in this new normal. It’s important to reflect and celebrate the wins you’ve achieved during these extraordinary circumstances. And Genesys believes it’s particularly important to honor your successes in a year that was stacked with opposition.  

Nominations open today for the 2021 Genesys Customer Innovation Awards. 

The 16th Annual Genesys Customer Innovation Awards 

Now in its 16th consecutive year, the Genesys Customer Innovation Awards recognize the innovation, ingenuity and dedication of customer experience (CX) leaders who make customers their top priority.  

This year, you can nominate your company for one of five award categories: 

  • CX Creator – Best customization success story 
  • CX Empathy – Best story to demonstrate empathy in customer experience 
  • CX Innovator – Best innovation success story 
  • CX Mover – Best cloud implementation success story 
  • CX Team Mobilizer – Best team productivity success story 

We’ll award eight winners from these five categories. The CX Mover award will have four winners based on implementation (Genesys Professional Services implementation, partner implementation with a partner and customer winner, and self-implementation). In past years, the Customer Innovation Awards have been tied directly to Xperienceour annual customer conference. Because Xperience 2021 is a virtual event, we’ve reimagined this year’s Customer Innovation Awards.  

The awards will be virtual but now completely independent of Xperience. This means we can go big when promoting winners — and can offer some new and exciting prizes, including donations to a charity of your choice, a team party, Genesys-branded merchandise, LinkedIn profile consulting and more. This year has tested CX like never before — you all deserve a medal. But you can’t receive a Genesys Customer Innovation Award unless you apply or nominate your company.
