IRS Publication 1075

IRS Publication 1075 is only applicable to our US-East-2 (Genesys Cloud FedRAMP region).  IRS Publication (Pub) 1075 provides guidance for U.S. government agencies and their agents on protecting Federal Tax Information (FTI). While the IRS does not issue a formal certification for compliance with Pub 1075, Genesys Cloud enables government customers and partners to safeguard FTI within a secure, FedRAMP-authorized environment aligned with NIST SP 800-53 controls.

IRS Pub 1075 compliance is established by the IRS through agency submissions. Genesys Cloud cannot independently be “IRS Pub 1075 compliant,” nor can it submit on behalf of an agency. Instead, compliance follows a shared responsibility model:

• Genesys Cloud provides a FedRAMP Moderate–authorized environment, implementing and maintaining the required security and privacy controls.
• Government agencies are responsible for their own organizational, operational, and data-handling controls to meet IRS Pub 1075 requirements.
