CCPA

The California Consumers Protection Act (CCPA) is a state statute intended to enhance privacy rights and consumer protection for residents of California in the United States.

Genesys Cloud supports CCPA compliance for all of the Genesys Cloud-deployed Amazon Web Services (AWS) regions.

In November of 2020, California voters approved Proposition 24, the CPRA, which amended the CCPA and added new additional privacy protections that began on January 1, 2023. CPRA amends the CCPA; it does not create a separate, new law.
