Allen Chiu is the Chief Legal Officer at Genesys, responsible for leading the global legal, regulatory, and compliance functions. Since joining Genesys in 2016, Allen previously held the senior leadership role of General Counsel and has played a critical role in shaping the global legal and compliance strategy. He brings more than 20 years of legal experience, including service as an assistant United States attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice, where he worked in the national security and criminal divisions in the Central District of California. He began his legal career at Latham & Watkins LLP and clerked for Judge Dana M. Sabraw in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
Allen also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in Law at both the USC Gould School of Law and Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. He holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a Juris Doctor degree from UCLA School of Law.
