It’s been a very busy summer at Genesys. Roughly a month ago, we announced a $900 million investment in our company by Hellman & Friedman. The next step toward realizing our mission is today’s announcement; Genesys has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Interactive Intelligence.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval and approval by Interactive Intelligence shareholders.
