On September 12-14th, Genesys customers, partners, developers worldwide will descend on Miami for three days to learn, hack, and network at DevCon17. The event will be bigger and better this year as it will feature highlights of all of Genesys Customer Experience Platform including PureCoud, PureConnect and PureEngage.
DevCon is an outstanding event to network and connect with other Genesys developers from around the world, and directly with Genesys engineers, not to mention our keynote speaker, Chief Technology Officer, Slava Zhakov. Take this opportunity to learn what developers at other companies are doing and how they did it. Visit the DevLounge to meet with Genesys engineers to get answers to questions you might have that are specific to your current or future projects.
PureCloud by Genesys features a API-first foundation, meaning that APIs to nearly every feature and function of the platform are available. PureCloud engineers and architects will be delivering sessions to help you understand how the system is architected, why they built things the way they did, and the numerous ways in which you can integrate to the platform.
PureConnect, previously known as CIC/CaaS from Interactive Intelligence, is an easy to deploy and configure contact center solution. PureConnect engineers and developers will be delivering sessions that cover real-world integrations, how to use the ICELib and ICWS SDKs to build your own integrations to 3rd party systems, and how to integrate into the agent desktop application.
PureEngage is the swiss army knife of contact center solutions for large enterprises. PureEngage engineers will be covering topics such as the new Genesys Web Services 9.0, the venerable Platform SDK, how to integrate with the Genesys Workspace agent desktop, and an entire day on Kate. Kate is our technology stack that allows you to integrate AI, bots, and machine learning into the platform to offer a “Blended AI” customer experience.
New to DevCon this year is the Innovation Challenge Hack-a-thon. Teams can form to build an innovative solution for any of the three Genesys contact center solutions prior to DevCon. Solutions will be presented to a team of judges during the DevCon event to be judged on categories such as Industry Impact, Audience Choice, Sponsor Award, and Top 10 Finalist Awards. Monetary prizes will be given for winners in each category. So, form a team, add the Innovation Challenge to your DevCon registration, and see if you have what it takes to win.
Also attending the event will be many Genesys AppFoundry partners, who are also sponsoring the event. This is a great opportunity to talk with them to find out how their solutions could be useful in your contact center. Also listen and learn from their experiences of integrating to the Genesys Customer Experience Platform.
We’ve been hard at work to put together an event for you that should be informative, thought provoking, and entertaining. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity and join us in Miami for DevCon17. Register now!
**Update Sept 7th: We regret to inform you that Genesys is cancelling DevCon17 due to the potential impact of Hurricane Irma. All attendees should have received an email to explain refund procedures. Keep an eye out for a potential rescheduling of DevCon17.
