A Year in Review: Coming Together As One

They say time flies when you’re having fun. The past year has certainly flown by – so quickly, in fact, that it’s hard to believe today marks the one-year anniversary of our merger with Interactive Intelligence.

Mergers like ours aren’t all fun – they’re a lot of work. What is fun and also deeply satisfying, is looking back at just how far we’ve come. In just 12 months we have:

  • Brought together two large teams together into one global organization.
  • Blended different products, cultures and more than 50 sites around the world so we can better help organizations deliver seamless, instant and effortlessly connected moments to their customers.
  • Ramped up and integrated disparate, sales, services and customer care organizations so we can deliver even better experiences for our customers throughout their journeys with Genesys.

The list goes on, but the point is this: the pace of change and implementation over the past year was lightning fast. Our accomplishments are a tribute to the focus and execution of our newly combined team. They’ve made every moment count and our company has emerged even stronger as a result. We should be tremendously proud of these achievements – I certainly am.

Together, we have developed a unified focus that will carry us forward. We’re in a great position to accelerate on the foundation we have put in place and help businesses create great customer experiences.
