Genesys Customer Innovation Awards: 2022 Nominations Are Open

It takes determination and resiliency for a company to emerge from the last two years stronger than it was before the COVID-19 pandemic began. For contact centers, the pandemic placed more emphasis on the importance of customer experience (CX) and customer engagement. And these trends are here to stay.

The Genesys Customer Innovation Awards (CIA), which recognizes the hard work and determination of Genesys customers and partners who dedicate themselves to their employees and customers, is now accepting nominations. Now in its 17th year, the Genesys Customer Innovation Awards celebrate companies that have excelled in CX over the past year.

CIA Categories in 2022

This year’s categories are designed to shine a spotlight on organizations putting empathy, creativity, innovation, transformation and productivity at the heart of what they do — every day.

  • CX Creator — Most innovative use of a capabilities across product, marketplace, your ecosystem and custom development
  • CX Empathy – Best use of empathy in customer experience
  • CX Innovator – Best innovation
  • CX Mover – Best cloud implementation
  • CX Team Mobilizer – Best example of improving team engagement

We’ll award eight winners from these five categories. The CX Mover category will have four winners based on implementation (Genesys Professional Services implementation, partner implementation with a partner and customer winner, and self-implementation). To get some inspiration, read the stories about our 2021 winners. All of last year’s winners showcased what it means to put their customers and employees first — and thrive despite adversity. Company Nurse spun off a whole new business with the Genesys Cloud™ platform to be named the CX Creator winner. In addition, Woolworths took home the CX Innovator award for implementing conversational artificial intelligence (AI) while increasing Net Promoter Score.

Kiwibank and partner Spark NZ were named winners of the CX Mover (partner implementation) because of their highly successful team effort in transitioning to the cloud. And Xerox demonstrated its dominance as the CX Mover (Professional Services implementation) category by retiring seven legacy platforms and migrating 3,600 agents, working in 14 languages.
