Don't Show This Again.
This week, Genesys employees from across the globe gathered in Dallas, Texas, for the annual sales kickoff event, SKO19. This always is a special time, bringing together a diverse team—with different backgrounds and areas of expertise—to learn from one another and share new ideas for the year ahead.
And if you’re one of the four million people who watched the Ted Talk by Steven Johnson or read his New York Times Bestseller, you know where good ideas come from. Essentially, an idea is a network of neurons that form in the brain; and good ideas are able to flourish in an environment of creativity.
“We take ideas from other people, from people we’ve learned from, from people we run into in the coffee shop, and we stitch them together into new forms and we create something new. That’s really where innovation happens,” said Steven Johnson, during the talk.
Genesys SKO19 is the place where our #MomentsConnected act as an incubator for good ideas, as well as for company culture and technological developments. Here’s a recap of SKO19:
Sharing Ideas at SKO19
Several Genesys executives discussed the success we achieved last year and the theme for 2018 was: Momentum. And of course, we shared the exciting innovations that are already available for our Genesys customers to gain great business benefits.
Attendees also heard a touching story about Kate Kuehn, the Genesys Hero for January who went above and beyond while working as an agent at the Crisis Services Canada contact center. “Connections do exist and they are powerful”, said Kuehn.
Networking in the Solutions Café
The Genesys sales team didn’t just hear about all available technology offerings, they also had a chance to see those solutions in action during live demos in the Solutions Cafe. There, experts showed many different use cases of the Genesys Customer Experience platform.
We also welcomed some of our Genesys ecosystem partners, including technology partners who are featured on the AppFoundry Marketplace. These companies are among hundreds who innovate across all three Genesys platforms to offer a broad range of customer service applications, integrations and solutions that address your unique needs.
