From Strategy to Execution in Healthcare

Tuesday 19 May · 10am SGT | 12noon AEST | 2pm NZT

A practical approach to reducing administrative friction across Epic, Cerner and Meditech environments

EMR platforms are central to modern healthcare, but they are not designed to manage every aspect of patient engagement and operational workflow.

As a result, many healthcare organisations experience administrative friction around their EMR environments, including fragmented communication, disconnected workflows and limited visibility across patient interactions.

In this session, we move from strategy to execution. We explore how healthcare providers can integrate engagement platforms with EMR and PAS systems to streamline workflows, reduce administrative effort and improve workforce productivity. The focus is on practical implementation, including how to identify high value workflows, approach integration and successfully deliver outcomes.

This session will be hosted by Jenny Reichard from Genesys, joined by Adam Ackerman, from EDCi, who will share hands on experience integrating Genesys Cloud with EMR environments and provide practical guidance on how to approach, sequence and deliver these initiatives.

What you will learn

  • Where administrative friction exists around EMR and PAS driven workflows
  • How to identify and prioritise high value integration opportunities
  • The role of engagement platforms as systems of action alongside EMR systems of record
  • Practical examples of integrating workflows across Genesys Cloud and EMR environments
  • Key considerations for implementation, including governance, sequencing and change management
  • How to take a phased and achievable approach to integration
