Genesys Japan appoints Paul Ito Ricci as new President of Japan

Appointment will serve to drive business momentum and chart new growth paths for Genesys Cloud in Japan

TOKYO — January 20, 2020 — Genesys Japan (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), the global leader in omnichannel customer experience and contact center solutions, today announced Paul Ito Ricci as its new President of Japan, effective immediately. Ricci succeeds Yoichi Hosoi, who will serve as an advisor for Genesys Japan.

Ricci brings in his experience of more than 15 years as a sales leader in the customer experience and contact center industry. In this role, Ricci is primarily responsible for growing the company’s market share and overseeing its operational strategies in Japan.

Previously as Vice President of Enterprise Sales Division for Genesys, Ricci led the launch of the company’s flagship cloud contact center solution, Genesys Cloud (formerly Genesys PureCloud), in Japan. During his tenure as a sales leader at the company, Genesys Cloud bookings and revenue significantly increased in Japan.”

Ricci joined Genesys in 2017, following the company’s acquisition of Interactive Intelligence where he served as country manager for more than three years.
