We\u2019re judged by how well we balance technology with humanity \u2014 how we use AI to elevate both customer and employee experience without losing the emotional core that makes experience matter in the first place. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For me, leadership has always started with people. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My leadership style is collaborative and results-driven. I believe leadership is about inspiring trust and empowering people, creating an environment where everyone feels part of the solution. When people feel ownership, they bring their best ideas forward \u2014 and that\u2019s where real transformation begins. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the most meaningful examples of this came from something deceptively simple: learning together. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At one point, I challenged my team to pursue professional certifications to strengthen our collective expertise. The goal wasn\u2019t just skill-building; it was mindset. Within four months, every team member completed at least four certifications. I completed six myself, not because I had to, but because leadership means leading by example. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What started as a development initiative became a lasting culture of learning and continuous improvement \u2014 one that still shapes how we operate today. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI as a leadership asset <\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That culture has become even more critical as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genesys.com\/en-sg\/blog\/post\/how-large-action-models-will-power-agentic-orchestration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AI reshapes customer experience<\/a>. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI has refined my leadership philosophy. I\u2019ve always believed in collaboration and continuous development, but the arrival of AI pushed me to lead with a stronger focus on data and innovation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the past, many strategic decisions leaned heavily on accumulated experience. Today, AI helps me anticipate trends, identify opportunities and, most importantly, free up my team\u2019s time so they can focus on creative, high-value work. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the lesson I keep coming back to: technology doesn\u2019t replace leadership. It amplifies it. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the right tools, leaders can be more agile, more accurate and, paradoxically, more human. When repetitive tasks are automated and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genesys.com\/blog\/post\/the-hidden-power-of-web-behavior-for-better-digital-cx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">insights surface faster<\/a>, we gain time to coach, listen and inspire. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s why I\u2019m very intentional about how we talk about AI on my team. I always reinforce that AI is not an end in itself \u2014 it\u2019s a means to empower people and processes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We start small and with purpose, focusing on practical use cases that deliver real impact. We\u2019re honest about the limits of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genesys.com\/en-sg\/blog\/post\/ai-trust-and-the-future-of-cx-key-insights-from-davos-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AI and the need for human oversight<\/a>, especially when it comes to ethics, quality and context. And above all, we use it to create value, not complexity. If AI doesn\u2019t simplify operations and generate results, it\u2019s not doing its job. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a leader, I also use AI to help me identify priorities, anticipate challenges and set more realistic goals. With clearer insights, I can provide better direction, keep teams aligned and maintain motivation even during periods of rapid change. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI and empathy: partners in experience delivery <\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience, at its core, is emotion. Engaged customers and engaged employees build lasting relationships and sustainable results. That\u2019s why excellence in both customer and employee experience is deeply personal to me. What I enjoy most about CX is its dynamism \u2014 the constant evolution and the opportunity to impact lives through solutions that simplify and delight. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the most meaningful moments in my career came when a client told me: \u201cYou transformed the way we serve our customers.\u201d That kind of feedback is proof that we\u2019re on the right path. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Looking ahead, what excites me most is the integration of AI, automation and extreme personalisation. These forces will redefine customer experience \u2014 and leadership along with it. I\u2019m especially eager to continue learning about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genesys.com\/en-sg\/blog\/post\/from-conversation-to-resolution-genesys-cloud-agentic-virtual-agent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">agentic AI and how autonomous, intelligent journeys<\/a> can be designed without losing empathy or trust. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For CX leaders navigating this transformation, my advice is simple: start with purpose. Don\u2019t adopt AI just because it\u2019s trendy. Solve real problems. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genesys.com\/blog\/post\/building-trust-in-the-age-of-ai-driven-hr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Involve your team from the beginning<\/a> and show them that AI is an ally \u2014 one that frees up time, unlocks creativity, and creates value. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because in the end, technology without engaged people is just code.
