The Charter for Social Housing and Awaab&#8217;s Law have moved tenant voice and safety in the home from good intentions to hard requirements, with strict timescales and real penalties for getting it wrong.<\/p>\n<p>This breakfast briefing brings together 10 to 12 senior leaders from across the sector for a candid roundtable discussion, not a sales pitch. Over breakfast, you&#8217;ll explore what&#8217;s really happening on the ground, hear how peers are responding, and discuss the practical cost of standing still.<\/p>\n<p>The conversation will be shaped by Genesys and guided by a customer voice from Peabody Housing, bringing a practical, sector perspective into the room.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The discussion will explore:<br since October 2025 with mandatory timescales for damp, mould and 24-hour emergency repairs, expanding to further hazards through 2026 and all hazards by 2027, and what non-compliance really
