In that vein, we recently announced<\/a> Genesys Multicloud CX will run on Microsoft Azure<\/a>. Together, the solutions will give organisations the security and scalability they need to manage the complexities of connecting every touchpoint throughout the customer journey. In addition, the combined technologies will help organisations migrate their contact centres to the cloud more easily with unified data and predictive insights while also enabling them to leverage existing investments in Microsoft.<\/p>\n

Many of our customers have asked for this and we\u2019re thrilled to provide it. But this news is just one piece of a much larger, positive change we\u2019re making for our customers. We\u2019re embracing a multicloud strategy for Genesys Multicloud CX. Whether our customers prefer private cloud, different public clouds or a hybrid approach, we\u2019re giving them the power to choose.<\/p>\n

One Cloud Does Not Fit All<\/strong><\/p>\n

We work with organisations across the globe spanning multiple industries \u2014 from those that need the highest levels of security to developer shops that want a plethora of open-source technology and those that fall somewhere in between. We also recognise that businesses are in varying stages of cloud adoption. Plenty are early into migrating away from on-premises solutions while others are already all-in with cloud. Some take a best-of-both-worlds approach, utilising applications on-premises, while also taking advantage of cloud-delivered innovations.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why enabling businesses to run Genesys Multicloud CX where and how they want is so important. It\u2019s also the reason we\u2019ve containerised the product. It gives businesses peace of mind that no matter what environment they run in, Genesys Multicloud CX performs consistently with the same robust capabilities, including world-class intelligent routing, real-time contextual journeys, tools for digital transformation and more. And, they can adopt new technologies faster.<\/p>\n

A large North American insurance company is a great example. In just two days, the company deployed Genesys digital service in containers. It was able to go live in a matter of days \u2014 a process that would have taken a couple of months before.<\/p>\n

Tethered No More<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, good customer experiences aren\u2019t delivered with a one-size-fits-all approach that\u2019s managed from a contact centre solution running on the vendor\u2019s choice of infrastructure. While the rise of cloud computing over the past decade has been remarkable, there\u2019s been a shift away from a singular option \u2014 organisations don\u2019t want to be tethered to one cloud environment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Global businesses, for example, often have different infrastructure needs across many geographies.
