Genesys Asia Pacific Scheduled Maintenance Task – Friday 12th December 2008 

On Friday 12th December 2008, Genesys Asia Pacific is planning a scheduled maintenance task on the Genesys Meeting Center Web platform within the region. Please Note: Audio-only Genesys Meeting Center meetings will NOT be affected in any way. In addition, Genesys Meeting Center audio control functions on the Web will also NOT be affected..

The maintenance task will begin at 23.00 (Singapore time) Friday 12th December 2008 and end at 00.00 (Singapore time) Sunday 14th December 2008 - 25 hour window. During this time all Genesys conferencing and collaboration services will still be available to you. Genesys has placed the highest priority in ensuring that the task is completed as swiftly as possible and that any potential effects to clients and their meetings are minimised during this time.

The purpose of the scheduled maintenance task is to upgrade our backend systems and infrastructure to further improve the high standard of the Genesys Meeting Center Web platform and continue to expand capacity/scalability and achieve even greater stability than currently present.

Situations to be aware of during this time: 

1) If you have previously uploaded presentations/documents to the Genesys Meeting Center Web platform, these will not be available during this 25 hour window. We recommend either re-uploading these documents or sharing a copy of the presentations/documents via desktop sharing. 

2) If you upload any presentations/documents to the Genesys Meeting Center Web platform during this 25 hour window, the presentations/documents will not be available after this scheduled maintenance time frame e.g. not available after 00.00 (Singapore time) Sunday 14th December 2008. 

3) Web archiving will NOT be available during this 25 hour window.

As a precautionary warning, we would recommend any non-essential meetings to be rescheduled to another date and time if possible. However, if you are unable to do so, please keep in mind that this scheduled maintenance task is happening and bear with us for the time being. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
