California Food Pantry Recognizes Genesys Employees For Donating Over 9,000 Pounds of Food to San Francisco Area Organization for the Needy

SAN FRANCISCO – May 6, 2015 — Genesys (www.genesys.com), the market leader in omnichannel customer experience (CX) and contact center solutions, is being recognized with the “Thanks for Taking Our Hand” award by the North Peninsula Food Pantry & Dining Center of Daly City.

Genesys has been the organization’s local partner since 2010 and employees help sponsor fundraisers and food drives. Over the past five years employees have donated more than $36,762 and about 9,500 pounds of food. Additionally, Genesys set a new donation record during the 2014 fall food drive by raising $11,457 and donating about 3,200 pounds of food.

“We are proud to recognize Genesys for the tremendous support that we receive,” said Denise Kelly, Executive Director of the North Peninsula Food Pantry & Dining Center of Daly City. “Community sponsorship is critical to our mission to provide food to those in need and Genesys has gone above and beyond with financial support, food drives and volunteers. In recognition for this milestone, the Food Pantry will hold a “Thanks for Taking Our Hand” fundraising breakfast honoring Genesys employees on May 14 in Daly City, Calif.
