Executives Named To Drive Growth and Expansion in Key New Markets for Company

SAN FRANCISCO – March 24, 2015 – Genesys (www.genesys.com), the market leader in omnichannel customer experience (CX) and contact center solutions, today announced two key new executive appointments to lead its Mexico and Brazil sales operations. In Mexico, José Luis Sanchez has been named the new Managing Director while in Brazil, Marcelo Menta has been appointed Country Operations Manager.

“These appointments to our Latin American leadership team bring us experienced and proven leadership in these key markets as we work to expand our growth in Mexico and Brazil,” said Tom Eggemeier, Executive Vice President of Sales, Service and Support at Genesys. “Both Marcelo and José Luis bring the professional experience, results-oriented business style and passion for customer experience that will serve our customers and partners in the region well, while driving Latin American growth for the company.

Both Sanchez and Menta will be responsible for leading sales operations within Mexcio and Brazil as well as identifying new market expansion opportunities for the company. Prior to Genesys, Sanchez served as President of Latin America North for SAS, where over a 10-year career he consistently delivered 40 percent revenue growth for the company leading sales, marketing and operations in the region. Previously, Sanchez held sales leadership positions at EMC and HP. He has post graduate MBA studies at Arizona’s Thunderbird School of Global Management and a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the United States International University in Mexico.

In Brazil, Marcelo Menta most recently served as Managing Director of Intel Security, where he was in charge of the Brazil McAfee sales, marketing products and branding business. Also, Menta has previously held various senior sales and leadership roles at Dimension Data and Cisco Systems. Menta earned a master’s degree in Strategic Marketing from ESPM-SP, an executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, and a Programme de Gestion Avancée from INSEAD in Fountainebleau, France.

Both appointments are effective immediately.
